Jodhpur, 7th May. Asaram Bapu’s health worsened after being corona infected. He was admitted to the ICU of MDM Hospital in Jodhpur, he has now been shifted on ventilator.
Asaram Bapu, who went to jail on charges of sexual assault of a 16-year-old girl, was sent to the Intensive Care Cell (ICU) of the hospital after being corona positive. Asaram was admitted to the hospital on Wednesday night after having difficulty in breathing.
“He is shifted on ventilator support and his condition is stated to be stable,” the source said. There are preparations to send Asaram Bapu to Jodhpur AIIMS. Along with Asaram Bapu, 12 other prisoners have been found to be Corona positive.
