J&K Announces Selection Committee for Youth Kabaddi Nationals in Haridwar

Jammu, 5th June: The Jammu and Kashmir Amateur Kabaddi Association has announced the selection committee members for the under-18 boys’ and girls’ teams ahead of the upcoming Youth National Kabaddi Championship, scheduled to be held in Haridwar from June 28 to July 1, 2025.

General Secretary of the association, Mr. Kuldeep Kumar Gupta, stated that the probables for both sections will be shortlisted through a selection process conducted by dedicated committees comprising experienced players and officials.

Selection Committee – Boys Team:

1. Mr. Ajit Singh – National Player
2. Mr. Sangram Singh – National Player
3. Mr. Mohammed Yakoob – District Secretary, Kathua
4. Mr. Sanjit Kumar – District Secretary, Jammu

Selection Committee – Girls Team:

1. Ms. Nisha Kumari – Kabaddi Coach
2. Ms. Manmeet Kaur – Kabaddi Coach
3. Ms. Naida Devi – Kabaddi Coach
4. Ms. Kajal Devi – Kabaddi Coach

A 14-member UT team from both the boys’ and girls’ sections will be selected to represent Jammu and Kashmir at the national-level competition in Haridwar.
