Jabalpur: residents demand strict action against the people involved in selling fake Remdesivir injections.

Jabalpur, 11 May. The residents of Jabalpur through a signed letter written to the District Magistrate have demanded to arrest the company and the culprits responsible for selling fake Remdesivir injection and also take action against Sarabjit Singh Mokha and others under NSA and constitute CBI investigation in the matter.
The letter stated that the Madhya Pradesh government had passed an order of taking action under National Security Act (NSA) against those selling drugs at a price higher than the prescribed rate during COVID-19 infection period and also for selling oxygen cylinders at a higher price and black marketing of Remdesivir injections, but no action has been taken in compliance of the said order yet. The police registered the case in Police station Omti against the perpetrators, but nothing has been done after that. The manufacturer of the fake injections are residents of Gujrat but the state government has not initiated any action against them. Hence under such conditions, the investigation should be handed over to CBI and the culprits are brought to justice. The residents also demanded that these perpetrators should be treated as terrorists as many people have died due to the fake injection in the hospital being treated for the Covid-19 virus.
