IPS Rashmi Shukla Appointed as DG of Sashastra Seema Bal

New Delhi, 3rd March. Rashmi Shukla (IPS:1988:MH), a senior IPS officer, has been appointed Director-General of the Sashastra Seema Bal (SSB).

According to an order issued by the Department of Personnel and Training (DoPT) on Thursday (02.03.2023), the Appointments Committee of the Cabinet has approved the proposal of the Ministry of Home Affairs to appoint Rashmi Shukla to the post from the date of her appointment to the date of her superannuation or until further orders, whichever is earlier.

She is currently the Additional Director General of the Central Reserve Police Force (CRPF).
