“Following protocol, we informed the relevant authorities and cooperated fully during the security checks before the aircraft was cleared for further operations,” IndiGo said in a statement.

The flight, initially scheduled to land in Hyderabad at 9:10 am, was diverted to Mumbai where a full security sweep was conducted. The aircraft later took off and reached Hyderabad around 4 pm. IndiGo said passengers were kept informed and offered refreshments during the delay.
