New Delhi, 8th Nov: The three-day annual youth dialogue ‘Vimarsh 2025’, organised by Yuva Sangathan, was inaugurated at Kamala Nehru College, University of Delhi, under the theme “Samvidhan – The Soul of Bharat.” The event brought together youth, academicians, and thinkers to deliberate on India’s constitutional values and their enduring relevance.

The programme opened with a traditional dance from South India, celebrating the nation’s cultural diversity and unity, followed by a vibrant folk performance from Maharashtra. The atmosphere was filled with energy as winners of pre-Vimarsh competitions were felicitated.

The inaugural session began with Kavindra Talian introducing Yuva’s mission, remarking, “As the youth’s direction goes, so goes the nation’s destiny.” Dr. Pratibha Tyagi, Vimarsh Convenor, welcomed all guests and participants, and launched the annual issue of Campus Chronicle titled “Samvidhan – The Soul of Bharat.”

Prof. Ashok Kumar Nagawat, Vice-Chancellor of Delhi Skill and Entrepreneurship University (DSEU), addressed the gathering on the contemporary relevance of the Constitution, urging young citizens to internalize its spirit in daily life.

Prof. Dr. Pavitra Bhardwaj, Principal of Kamala Nehru College, inspired students to uphold democratic principles, saying, “The Constitution is not merely a document; it is the soul of our nation.”

Prof. Balaram Pani, Dean of Colleges, University of Delhi, emphasized that forums like Vimarsh nurture thoughtful and responsible citizens.

Delivering the keynote address, Justice A.K. Goel, former Judge, said, “India’s Constitution is among the most dynamic in the world—it not only lays the framework of governance but also embodies the philosophy of life.” He urged the youth to make constitutional values a guiding part of their conduct and conscience.

The ceremony concluded with a vote of thanks from Dr. Pratibha Tripathi, who stated that “Vimarsh 2025 is a confluence of young minds shaping the direction of India’s future.”
