Indian company Panesia Biotech and RDIF begin Russian vaccine production in the country

New Delhi, 24th May. Indian companies Panesia Biotech and RDIF have started producing Russian vaccine in the country.India’s Panesia Biotech will now be able to make 100 million doses of Sputnik-V in the country every year. This anti-Corona vaccine developed by Russia is remarkably effective against the infection.
RDIF said the first batch of vaccine made by Panesia Biotech for quality control will be sent to the Institute in Gamelia that developed the Sputnik-V vaccine. Full scale production is expected to begin this summer. Panesia Biotech produces a variety of drugs and vaccines. It was established in 1984 and was listed as Panisia Biotech Limited in 1995.
Russia’s Sputnik V vaccine uses two different adenovirus in the first and second doses. The vaccine has been registered in 65 countries. According to the lancet, the leading medical journal, Sputnik V is 91.6 per cent effective on Covid-19.
