Indian Army Observes Snow Leopard Day with Yoga and Meditation at MIMC

New Delhi, 25th Oct: The Indian Army’s Fire and Fury Corps, Unit 406 organized a special event to mark Snow Leopard Day at the MIMC Campus, under the theme “Yoga for Snow Leopard, Save Snow Leopard on 23rd October 2025.”

Around 100 jawans and officers, including Lt. Col. Abhishek Tiwari, Maj. Shridan Patil, and Capt. Preeti Panwar, participated in a rejuvenating yoga session led by MIMC’s yoga instructor. The session was followed by meditation and a Dhamma talk delivered by Ven. Sanghasena.

In his address, Ven. Sanghasena lauded the Indian Army’s collaboration with Mahabodhi and highlighted MIMC’s ongoing efforts to promote yoga and meditation for the physical and mental wellbeing of soldiers. He reaffirmed the institution’s commitment to holistic programs supporting the nation’s protectors.

Participants expressed deep appreciation for the serene experience and the noble efforts of Ven. Sanghasena, who has dedicated over 30 years to spreading yoga, meditation, compassion (Karuna), and the philosophy of “Vasudhaiva Kutumbakam” — treating the world as one family.
