Jerusalem, 3rd Sept: An Indian delegation led by Mahaveer Singhvi, Joint Secretary (New Emerging & Strategic Technologies – NEST), Ministry of External Affairs, participated in the ‘Beyond Horizon Conference’ in Jerusalem on Tuesday. The event was inaugurated by Israeli President Isaac Herzog and Innovation, Science and Technology Minister Gila Gamliel.

Addressing the gathering, Singhvi highlighted India’s vision on emerging technologies, innovation, and global cooperation, underlining the importance of India–Israel partnerships in advancing frontier areas such as artificial intelligence, cybersecurity, space, renewable energy, and digital public infrastructure.

The conference brought together global leaders, policymakers, and technology experts to deliberate on the future of innovation, sustainable growth, and international collaboration in science and technology.

The Indian side emphasised that cooperation in new and strategic technologies forms a crucial pillar of the India–Israel partnership, aligning with both nations’ shared commitment to harnessing innovation for societal and economic progress.
