Shanghai, 26th July: India’s Consul General (CG) Pratik Mathur met with Wu Changchan, the Secretary General of the Shanghai Fisheries Trade Association (SFTA), to discuss avenues for deepening cooperation and expanding business opportunities within India’s rapidly growing maritime industry in the region.
The meeting focused on identifying new areas of collaboration that could benefit both sides. Discussions centered on leveraging the strengths of India’s fast-growing maritime sector and the established network of the Shanghai Fisheries Trade Association. The SFTA is a non-profit industry organization in Shanghai, involved in industry research, technical training, exhibition promotion, and information exchange related to fisheries.
