Cooch Behar, 25th Jan. Rahul Gandhi, leading the ‘Bharat Jodo Nyay Yatra’, arrived in West Bengal on Thursday, expressing confidence that the opposition INDIA bloc will fight against injustice throughout the country.
Gandhi accused the BJP and RSS of spreading hatred and violence, stating that the word ‘Nyay’ (justice) was included in the yatra because “injustice is prevalent across the country.”
“We have included the word ‘Nyay’ (justice) in the yatra because injustice is prevalent across the country. The BJP and RSS are spreading hatred and violence. The INDIA bloc will combat injustice nationwide,” he addressed reporters.
Gandhi received a warm welcome from Adhir Chowdhury, the state Congress president.
The yatra entered West Bengal through Bakshirhat in the Cooch Behar district in the northern part of the state.
