How come the nation’s strength lies in its dedication to Ram?

New Delhi, 23rd Jan.
This day holds great significance in the annals of Bharat, Sanatan, and human civilization. It is indeed our great fortune to see the shaping and rewriting of history. On January 22, the idol of Maryada Purushottam Ram was dedicated. On this day, Bharatiya culture is elevated and revitalized. This marks a turning point from which the nation’s politics and culture will no longer exist in their current configurations. That is going to undergo a significant alteration. The entire world has its gaze on Ayodhya and the Ram mandir. For every Sanatani, this is a significant day.  The Doordarshan series Ramayana, which aired in the 1980s, helped create the atmosphere beforehand, at least until the 1990s, when the Ram mandir movement got underway. Looking at it from a geographical perspective will reveal an extremely odd phenomenon. North and West have a stronger heritage of worshiping Ram, whilst East and South have less of it. This can be attributed to two factors. One is political, the other is cultural-religious. The cultural and theological explanations are that gods are worshipped significantly less in the East and South than goddesses are. More people adore Lord Krishna than Lord Rama in a state like Kerala. A distinct issue is that the Ramayana has been translated into every language spoken in South Bharat. The first example of it dates back to the 12th century and was written in South Bharat by Kampan.

Why do people in the South revere Ram less?

There are two ways that Ram is accepted in the South. First, he is regarded as an incarnation; second, it is thought that he was Maryada Purushottam, the greatest of all mankind. Thus, there are two ways in which he is worshipped. Why is Ram worshipped less in the South is the question at hand. This is due to a cultural trend wherein goddess worship is becoming increasingly common. When speaking of the East, it is also true that there is a greater devotion to various goddess forms. These kinds of Ram mandir are not found in the East or the South, nor are Ram idols placed in mandirs. Periyar, who established the divide between Aryans and Dravidians in Tamil Nadu, is the political cause behind this. Periyar thought that the real struggle depicted in Ramcharitmanas is between the Dravidians and the Aryans. He holds Sanatan Dharma accountable for the caste system. In an attempt to disseminate this misinformation, he used a few instances from the Valmiki Ramayana. According to legend, Shambuka was a Shudra who performed penance, therefore Rama killed him. In addition, there was an effort to instigate a further division by claiming that Ravana was a Dravidian, which is why Lord Shri Ram murdered him. These are the kinds of legends that have no real foundation, but they were ingrained in the minds of those who believed Ram was a member of the Kshatriya and Brahmin communities.

Ram became prevalent worldwide

While Periyar and his Dravida Munnetra Kazhagam (DMK) party opposed caste and religion, a closer examination of the DMK today reveals how caste and religion are employed by the party. The dedication of the Ram idol in Ayodhya is a topic of discussion today. The native Bharatiya citizens of New Zealand are being congratulated by their culture minister on a significant day. Rama is a representation of all that is admirable and virtue in human civilization. Periyar’s movement is a crucial factor in the movement’s reduced impact in Tamil Nadu and South Bharat. South Bharatiya generations, particularly those in Tamil Nadu, stopped reading the Ramayana after the 1950s. He know nothing about the Ramayana. He have been provided with only negative information regarding the Ramayana. Sanatan and the Ramayana are opposed to all of that. Because it is what he has been taught and told, Udhayanidhi Stalin’s statements are the outcome of his education. It is highly disgusting what Udhayanidhi Stalin said against Sanatan Dharma, yet this is what his education caused. This is the result of the educational and political environments he was raised in. The Ayodhya movement in the 1990s marked a turning point in this situation. From that point onwards, the process of introducing the venerated deity Ram from North Bharat to South Bharat started. An era of renewed dedication to Ram

The Bharatiya Janata Party expanded more geographically in regions where Ram is adored. The South and East, where Ram is not adored, are areas where the Bharatiya Janata Party is weaker. Narendra Modi’s decision to restore Ram in both the South and the East will give an indication of the improvements he has made. A more accurate statement would be that Ram Bhakt has been restored. A new era of Ram devotion is being witnessed throughout the nation. There is a newfound commitment to Ram that may not have been witnessed in North Bharat if you travel to Kerala, Tamil Nadu, or Andhra Pradesh in South Bharat. Ram has come back to all of Bharat, not just Ayodhya. As far as modern terminology is concerned, the restoration of Ram to all over Bharat signifies the return of good governance. In this world, morality and transparency are gaining popularity. The coming of Ram to Ayodhya is a major omen for the entire human civilization as well as for Ayodhya, Uttar Pradesh, and whole Bharat. Why is Ram given such great attention is the question. Since Bharatiya culture is embodied by Ram. We are present at a pivotal historical time.

This initiative has created the idea that devotion to Rama is the source of national power. This is not only an issue of loyalty; it’s also about fortifying and enhancing the nation’s supremacy. The nation’s strength will grow in proportion to the growth in the devotional practice of Ram. Take a comprehensive look. Don’t analyze it merely via a religious lens, or by connecting it to a mandir or the Lord Ram idol’s invocation ceremony. When considered holistically, it represents a significant advancement for the world’s well-being as well as the welfare of Bharat, helping to restore its status as a golden bird. We are getting ready to celebrate this momentous occasion. We are fortunate to have this. The upcoming generations can be taught that we were present for the ritual of dedicating the idol of Maryada Purushottam. For the majority of us who follow Sanatan and Lord Ram, nobody ever dreamed that the day would come when we would witness the construction of a Ram mandir in Ayodhya. That dream has manifested itself. A new day to celebrate Diwali, as Ram has returned to Ayodhya.  The nation should observe Diwali twice a year as of right now. The 22nd of January will go down in Bharatiya and Sanatana culture history as a significant occasion that will be discussed for decades to come. The upcoming generations will be aware of the extent of this transformation, even though we are the ones who are living through it. Honour and remember this day with joy and gratitude. This particular moment does not come around very often. We are witnessing this day now as a result of the sacrifice and penance done by all of the individuals who stirred up and gave their lives for the Ayodhya movement. Let’s enjoy this event every day and allow ourselves to be touched deeply by the realization that we are witnessing the shaping and changing of history.
