The conclave is being organised by the NDDB Foundation for Nutrition in line with Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s vision of ‘Sahkar se Samriddhi’.

The conclave will bring together policymakers, corporate leaders, cooperative institutions, scientists and beneficiary organisations to deliberate on innovative and sustainable strategies to eradicate malnutrition among children through corporate–cooperative partnerships.

During the event, Amit Shah will launch the third phase of the Giftmilk Programme under the CSR initiative of SAIL–Bhilai Steel Plant, Chhattisgarh. This programme will extend nutritional support to nearly 3,000 children studying in anganwadi centres across rural Nagpur district in Maharashtra. The Shishu Sanjeevani supplement, developed by NDDB, will be manufactured by the Bhandara Milk Union.

The conclave will feature technical sessions on ‘Nutrition and Health: Malnutrition Eradication through Public Interventions’ and ‘Corporate–Cooperative Collaboration for Nutrition Security’. Around 1,200 participants from across the country are expected to attend the national-level deliberations.
