HM Amit Shah Pays Tribute to Khudiram Bose on Birth Anniversary

New Delhi, 3rd Dec: Union Home Minister and Minister of Cooperation Amit Shah on Wednesday paid tribute to revolutionary martyr Khudiram Bose on his birth anniversary, recalling his extraordinary courage and unwavering commitment to India’s freedom struggle.
In a post on X, the Home Minister described Khudiram Bose as a symbol of valour, courage and sacrifice who mobilised the country’s youth for armed resistance against British rule and played a key role in spreading the spirit of Swadeshi. He said Bose remained undeterred despite severe repression by the colonial administration and willingly laid down his life for the motherland at a very young age.
Shah wrote that Khudiram’s heroic story continues to inspire generations, urging today’s youth to always place the nation above all else. He said the revolutionary’s legacy stands as an “invaluable source of inspiration” for every young Indian committed to national service.
Born in 1889, Khudiram Bose became one of the youngest martyrs of India’s freedom struggle and remains celebrated for his daring resistance and supreme sacrifice. Officials said the Home Minister’s tribute reflects the enduring respect for freedom fighters who shaped India’s independence movement.
