New Delhi, 23rd March: Union Home Minister Amit Shah on Monday paid homage to legendary freedom fighters Bhagat Singh, Sukhdev Thapar, and Shivaram Rajguru on their Martyrdom Day.
In a message shared on X, Shah described the trio as iconic figures of India’s freedom movement who inspired generations of youth through their courage and commitment to the nation.
He said their thoughts and actions motivated young Indians to dedicate themselves to the cause of liberating the motherland from colonial rule.
Recalling their supreme sacrifice, Shah noted that their willingness to embrace the gallows for the nation continues to evoke deep patriotism among citizens.
“Their heroic sagas fill our hearts with a profound sense of patriotism,” he said, adding that their legacy remains a guiding force for the country.
