Additionally, 100 new vehicles for Rajasthan Police and armed forces were flagged off.

Cooperative Movement’s Rapid Growth
Amit Shah highlighted Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s initiative in establishing an independent Union Ministry of Cooperation, aimed at extending cooperative benefits to every village, poor person, and farmer. He asserted that cooperation now plays an active role in 98 percent of rural areas, proclaiming that “the next 100 years will belong to Cooperation.” He noted that cooperatives contribute approximately 20 percent to the country’s paddy and wheat procurement, 35 percent of fertilizers, and 30 percent of sugar production, with over 20 percent of fair price shops also run through cooperatives. Over 31 crore people are connected to cooperation through 8.5 lakh cooperative bodies.

Within four years of its establishment, the Ministry of Cooperation has strengthened cooperatives through 61 initiatives. Shri Shah stated they aim to create two lakh new PACS (Primary Agricultural Credit Societies), with 40,000 already established and all PACS computerized. He mentioned the acceptance of model bylaws by all states and ongoing warehouse construction. New cooperative institutions for organic products, export, and seed promotion have also been created. Shah underscored PM Modi’s guarantee for farmers registered on the NAFED and NCCF app to purchase pulses, oilseeds, and maize at Minimum Support Price (MSP), while allowing them freedom to sell produce in the market if prices exceed MSP.

Rajasthan’s Agricultural Contributions and Governance
Amit Shah praised Rajasthan’s significant contribution to national agricultural development, noting its leading position in cluster beans (over 90%), mustard (46%), pearl millets (44%), oilseeds (22%), and millets (15%) production. He also mentioned Rajasthan ranking second in groundnut production (18%) and third in jowar, gram, pulses, and soybean. He highlighted the Modi government’s MSP increases over the past 11 years: 73% for wheat, 82% for gram, 95% for mustard, and 82% for groundnut.

Referring to Rajasthan’s famous camels, Shri Shah announced cooperative-led research initiatives for camel breed conservation and the medicinal properties of camel milk, aiming to secure the existence of camels.

He lauded the current Rajasthan government’s rapid progress in a short span, particularly its strong message against the “paper leak mafia” by forming an SIT. He mentioned MoUs worth ₹35 lakh crore signed at the Global Investment Summit under Chief Minister Bhajan Lal, with work already commenced on ₹3 lakh crore worth of projects. Other achievements include reduced VAT on petrol/diesel, LPG cylinders at ₹450, approval of the Yamuna DPR for water projects (Ram Jal Setu Link, Navnera Barrage, Tajewala Barrage), and tap water supply in many villages under Jal Jeevan Mission.

Shah stated that the Modi government, in its 11-year tenure, provided houses, toilets, electricity, gas, free food grains, and health treatment up to ₹5 lakh to 60 crore poor people. He commended Chief Minister Bhajan Lal for making Rajasthan a top state in implementing these initiatives, strengthening the cooperative movement in the state.

Concluding, Amit Shah highlighted India’s jump to the world’s fourth-largest economy under PM Modi, lifting 27 crore people above the poverty line. He emphasized Modi’s role in securing the country, citing surgical strikes and air strikes in response to terrorist attacks, conveying a strong message globally. He expressed confidence that the joint efforts of central and state governments would make Rajasthan’s cooperative sector lead the nation by 2047. He also paid tribute to Rajasthan’s brave warriors and Param Vir Chakra awardee Nirmal Singh Sekhon.
