New Delhi, 15th May. Prime Minister Narendra Modi reviewed the current status of Covid-19 and vaccination campaign in the country in a high-level meeting on Saturday.
The meeting was attended by top officials of various ministries. Amid the second wave of Covid-19, Modi has been holding frequent meetings in the wake of rising cases of Corona infection across the country and is also issuing necessary guidelines to control the situation from time to time.
A day before while interacting with the nation on a virtual platform, The Prime Minister said that the coronavirus pandemic is now spreading rapidly in rural areas of the country as well. He urged people to follow the corona guidelines including wearing masks and following the proper social distance. Narendra Modi said that the government is working hard to combat the second wave of this pandemic. He expressed confidence that the country would win in this battle against corona.
