Helicopter Crash Case: Air Force Orders Investigation, Defense Minister to make Statement in Parliament

New Delhi, 8th Dec. An Indian Air Force helicopter crashed in Coonoor, Tamil Nadu. Chief of Defence Staff Bipin Rawat including his family and staff members were present in this helicopter.
The Air Force has ordered an inquiry into this matter. Defence Minister Rajnath Singh can give a statement in Parliament in connection to this.
Senior officers took all the inputs in this regard and reached Parliament. Rajnath Singh has updated Prime Minister Narendra Modi about this helicopter crash case. Defense Minister Rajnath Singh can also visit the spot and review the report.
They were passing between Coimbatore and Selur in Tamil Nadu when the helicopter crashed. This was a Mi-17V5 helicopter, in which 14 people including CDS Bipin Rawat were on board. Of these, 4 have died. While three people have been evacuated safely. Two people have not been found yet.
Four people, including CDS Bipin Rawat, have been admitted to the hospital for treatment. So far, three people have been safely evacuated from this helicopter crash. According to sources, 9 people have died in the accident.
