Dhar, 17th Sept: Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Tuesday launched the ‘Swasth Nari, Sashakt Parivaar Abhiyaan’ at Dhar in Madhya Pradesh, marking his 75th birthday with a nationwide health initiative for women.
Union Rural Development and Agriculture & Farmers’ Welfare Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan virtually attended the event from New Delhi’s Community Health Centre, Saket, and extended birthday wishes to the Prime Minister.
“Under the leadership of Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi, the country is reaching new heights of development,” Chouhan said, describing the PM’s life as an “example of dedication, discipline and service.”
Highlighting women’s welfare, the minister stressed, “Only when women are healthy will families and the nation remain healthy,” urging women to avail themselves of free check-ups and adopt nutritious diets, yoga and pranayama.
Chouhan praised PM Modi’s global stature and decisive leadership, citing India’s firm stand in trade negotiations and the Pahalgam terror attack response through Operation Sindoor. He also recalled the PM’s commitment to Swadeshi and Atmanirbhar Bharat, encouraging citizens to prefer indigenous products during festivals.
The ‘Swasth Nari, Sashakt Parivaar Abhiyaan’ includes special health check-up camps for women across the country as part of the Seva Pakhwada celebrations.
