Hanuman Chalisa Can’t Be Played on Loudspeaker at the Time of Azan: Nashik Administration

Nashik, 18th April. The Nashik administration has taken a big decision amid the loudspeaker controversy of Azan and Hanuman Chalisa. As per the Nashik administration, now permission will be required before playing Hanuman Chalisa or Bhajan on loudspeaker in Nashik. The administration said that playing hanuman chalisa on loudspeaker won’t be allowed, 15 minutes before and after the Azaan.

Also, playing Hanuman Chalisa or Bhajan on loudspeaker will not be allowed within 100 meters of the mosque.

Nashik Police Commissioner Deepak Pandey said that before playing Bhajan or the Hanuman Chalisa, people will have to take its permission. Nasik Police Commissioner said that this order has been given to maintain peace and order.

Deepak Pandey said that till Eid, that is May 3, all religious places will have to take permission for the use of loudspeakers. If anyone is found violating the rules, then strict action will be taken.

For the past few days, there has been a political stir in Maharashtra regarding loudspeakers.

It all started when Maharashtra Navnirman Sena (MNS) chief Raj Thackeray had said that the loudspeakers on mosques should be removed by May 3 or else Hanuman Chalisa will be played from the loudspeakers in front of the mosques. The situation escalated when Hanuman Chalisa was heard being played on the loudspeakers of the Maharashtra Navnirman Sena’s Ghatkopar office the next day.
