Open Letter to Modi by RSS, activist – Acts of omission and commission of Haryana CM and caucus around him.—Part one.
While scanning my five decades old files and record for my upcoming book on Haryana,s politics, culture and governance titled ” Murky Politics of Haryana ” I discovered a six page letter typed in Hindi written to PM.Modi by a person ( name kept secret ) claiming to be RSS, activist highlighting various acts of omission and commission of Manohar Lal led Haryana govt. When I got this letter seven years ago I was not convinced about its contents and thought that it was a slander campaign by some disgruntled person at the instance of vested interests against a person who has a clean image and zero tolerance on corruption. But as an investigative journalist I didn’t throw it in the dustbin and had kept it in my archives for future reference.
Today I read the letter about a dozen times and I was convinced that its contents are not slander but genuine concern by an RSS activist. Issues raised in the letter seven years ago are proving or proved true which indicates and proves that the letter was written by someone having deep inside knowledge
Letter starts with congratulating Modi for the party,s victory in Lok Sabha and Haryana assembly elections and for installation of BJP govt. in Haryana with its own majority for the first time .
Letter further says that Manohar Lal despite being a member of RSS, Parcharak had failed to give good governance due to his inexperience of governance and habit of ‘Kano Ka Kaccha “. which is bringing bad name to you because he is your personal choice.It says that earlier there used to be one or two OSD or two or three retired HCS or IAS, officers to run the govt.but he had appointed more than dozen majority of whom are “incompetent “.
Letter warns that if it is not checked then the party,s image will be deteriorated to the extent it can face major trouble in future elections and for that purpose I am bringing some facts so that remedial measures could be taken in time.
His predictions proved true after two years when BJP got only forty seats in assembly elections.
Letter says “ Although Manohar Lal is projected as an honest person, it is only half truth and he is surrounded by sycophant officers in name of casteism who are not allowing truth information to the CM resulting in corruption. Since Manohar lal had no experience of running administration hence he is shifting his team specially personal staff frequently.It mentions a senior IAS officer who had been given key posting because of considerations other than merit and officer is known for his earlier posting in NCR.The officer got junior IAS, officers in Town and Country Planning department so that they can dance to his tune.The officer has the blessings of a self style Saint,Gurugram based senior functionary of RSS and a MP of GT road belt.”
The officer is still calling shots and after retirement occupying key government January 10
