Is it good Governance Manohar Lal Ji?
Post of Chairman and Members of Haryana Humans Rights Commission lying vacant for about one year.Highly placed sources close to CM, Manohar Lal told that he is caught in cross fire between lobbying of aspirants of these posts.
It is learnt that about fifty retired Highly Court Judges and retired IAS and IPS officers are in race.But at the same time Manohar Lal is considering of clearing the file amidst reports of simultaneous assembly polls with Loksabha.
About eleven years back this scribe was also in race for member although I had not applied but my name was recommended by an eminent retired Judge who was Chairman of search committee constituted for making recommendations for above posts.
At that time I had even not met him and after Sometimes he told me about this .He.was perhaps impressed by my reporting on social media.It is another thing that person who was chosen for the post was close relative of then Chairman of Selection Commiitte.
