New Delhi,  25th May. The announcement of Gurudwara Takht Shri Hazoor Sahib, one of 5 takhts of Sikhism, to release all its gold collected over the past 50 years for construction of hospitals/medical institutions has been appreciated by many cutting across party and religious lines.

The citizens commending the announcement also demanded the religious shrines in Uttarakhand and to her states should emulate and try to do the sae in this hour of need.
Many in social media from Uttarakhand demanded that the Devasthanam board constituted during the tenure of previous Trivendra Rawat government should also donate generously or announce such hospital near any shrine that is being operated by the board in the state.
Another netizen said that if the MLA’s and the officials who earn fat commissions from various government and departmental projects for the government schemes should also chip in up to 2 per cent of the illegal money collected over the Years in form of commissions which if calculated could amount to more than 1000 crores.
The emergency measure is required to tackle the Covid pandemic and the contribution from government engineer and other officials would go a long way in serving the nation, said Suresh Raina another social media buff.
