GTTCI Pledges Support to Vietnam for Business Promotion in India

New Delhi, 9th Sept. In a landmark event, the Embassy of the Socialist Republic of Vietnam in India, in collaboration with the Dong Nai Provincial People’s Committee, hosted a momentous business matching and trade & investment promotion program on September 6, 2023.
This gathering, held at the India Habitat Centre in New Delhi, was organized in partnership with the Global Trade & Technology Council of India (GTTCI).
The event served as a platform for fostering stronger economic ties between Vietnam and India.
Ambassador Nguyen Thanh Hai delivered an enlightening address, highlighting the myriad opportunities available for collaboration between the two nations. Dong Nai, a prominent gateway province to the vibrant Southeast economic region of Vietnam, boasts impressive statistics: it ranks fifth in population, third in Gross Domestic Product (GRDP), and sixth in GRDP per capita among Vietnamese administrative units. With over 32 industrial parks, including Long Thanh, An Phuoc, Nhon Trach II, Bien Hoa II, Amata, and more, Dong Nai is poised for remarkable growth.
A high-level delegation from Dong Nai province, led by its Chairman/Vice Chairman and comprising leaders of various departments and over 20 businesses spanning sectors like agriculture and food processing, rubber, real estate, handicrafts, ceramics, furniture, wooden products, and fertilizer, visited India from September 6th to 8th, 2023.
Members of the Global Trade & Technology Council of India actively participated in the event, engaging with Vietnamese businesses, witnessing product displays, and exchanging ideas.
Dr. Gaurav Gupta, Founder President of GTTCI, pledged the organization’s full support in facilitating collaboration between Indian businesses and government agencies.
Mr. Bui Trung Thuong, Trade Counsellor at the Embassy of Vietnam, extended felicitations for the successful trade meet, underscoring the importance of such initiatives in strengthening the economic bonds between Vietnam and India.
This event marks a significant step towards deeper economic cooperation and mutual growth for both nations, fostering a brighter future in trade and investment relations.
