Global Sanatan Aid to Host Release of Gen. Bakshi’s ‘Beyond Fear & A History of Hinduism’ Books

 Global Sanatan Aid and Sanatan Aid India will host the launch of two significant books of  Gen. Dr. GD Bakshi“Beyond Fear: A Personal Journey to Soma” and “A History of Hinduism,” at the India International Centre, New Delhi, on February 16, 2025, at 4 PM. The event will bring together distinguished scholars, military veterans, and thought leaders to celebrate Indic heritage and philosophy.

The Chief GuestHon’ble Lt. General Gurmit Singh (Retd.), Governor of Uttarakhand, will grace the occasion. Maj. Gen. Dr. GD Bakshi, Lt. Gen. HS Lidder, and Dr. Vivek Kaul will be present as Guests of Honour. The event will include a felicitation ceremony where six eminent Indic scholars will be honored with the Shashwat Alankar Puruskaar for their contributions to Hindu philosophy and research.

The program will commence with a Meet & Greet over tea and coffee at 4 PM, followed by the arrival of the Hon’ble Governor at 5 PM, who will be received by Gen GD Bakshi and Dr. Vivek Kaul. The event will formally begin with all attendees standing for the National Anthem and a welcome address for the Governor.

The highlight of the ceremony will be the official book release, followed by the felicitation of six scholars. This will be followed by three keynote speeches by distinguished guests, leading up to the Governor’s address. The event will conclude with a vote of thanks, another rendition of the National Anthem, and high tea for attendees. The proceedings are expected to wrap up by 6:30 – 7:00 PM.

This gathering marks an important moment in recognizing and celebrating Hindu heritage, philosophy, and scholarship while fostering intellectual dialogue on Indic traditions.
