New Delhi, 12th Nov: Union Minister for Power and Housing & Urban Affairs, Manohar Lal, held discussions with members of the US-India Strategic Partnership Forum (USISPF) and leading American business representatives in New Delhi on Wednesday.

During the interaction, the Minister outlined the Government of India’s key national missions, including energy transition, urban infrastructure, the PM-AWAS Yojana, and digital infrastructure expansion. He emphasized that these initiatives are steering India toward sustainable growth, supported by innovation and robust investment.

Manohar Lal said that the global investor community continues to express confidence in India’s future, reflecting optimism about the country’s economic resilience and reform-driven approach. He also appreciated the strong and positive response from USISPF members and business leaders during the meeting.

The discussions explored various themes such as the affordability of green hydrogen, transmission sector collaboration between India and the US, solar module exports from India, and investment in innovative energy storage technologies. Reliable and quality power supply to upcoming data centers in India also featured in the dialogue.

Drawing on the Indian philosophy of “Vasudhaiva Kutumbakam”—the world is one family—the Minister highlighted India’s commitment to shared growth, shared responsibility, and a shared future.

The visiting delegation included Shri John Chambers, Founder & CEO of JC2 Ventures and Chairman of USISPF; Dr. Mukesh Aghi, President & CEO, USISPF; Prabhakar Raghavan, Chief Technologist, Google; Jack P. Williams, Senior Vice-President, Exxon Mobil; and Vikram Kapur, Group President, ReNew.

Both sides reaffirmed the deepening momentum in India–US energy cooperation, reflecting decades of strategic partnership and a common vision for sustainable development and energy security.
