New Delhi, 27th Jan. On Saturday, Union Minister Giriraj Singh referred to Bihar Chief Minister Nitish Kumar as a “restless soul” and predicted that the BJP would lead the state’s next administration in 2025. This is happening in the midst of rumors that Nitish Kumar is about to rejoin the BJP-led NDA.
In 2025, we’ll set up a government in Bihar. Bihar voters will support the BJP in both Bihar and the Lok Sabha in 2024 and 2025. I’m just taking in the state’s happenings,” Singh remarked. In response to a question concerning Nitish Kumar’s departure from the BJP in 2022 to form the grand coalition government in Bihar, which consists of the RJD, JD(U), Congress, and three Left parties, Singh said, “He is a restless soul.” The Union Minister went on to say that the BJP is not involved in the present political developments between the RJD and JD(U).
“BJP is monitoring the current political events.” Any response that is now required must come from Lalu Yadav, RJD, Tejashwi Yadav, or Nitish Kumar. Nitish Kumar has not announced his departure, nor has Lalu Yadav just declared that he has left. Regarding this, what is the Bharatiya Janata Party’s position?
As the dominant party in this area, the BJP has closely observed the goings-on, but it has no involvement whatsoever in the events that take place, according to Singh, who was cited by the news agency.
Speaking about the likely motivations for the plot between RJD and JD(U), he predicted that either Nitish Kumar or Lalu Yadav would be aware of it. However, he went on to say that Lalu Yadav’s decision to give Congress leader Rahul Gandhi precedence over Nitish Kumar at the INDIA bloc meeting in Patna was the catalyst for the rupture between their two parties. He added that although Nitish Kumar had left the BJP to run for prime minister, Lalu Yadav had not offered him the necessary backing.
“Nitish Kumar split from BJP as he wanted to become the Prime Minister, but Lalu Yadav was the biggest obstacle in this as he never promoted him but Rahul Gandhi,” the federal minister stated.
“Anything is possible in politics,” stated BJP Chief Whip Dilip Jaiswal of the Bihar Legislative Council in the meanwhile. We can take into account any formula or element to guarantee that, in 2024, Narendra Modi will lead the nation into a powerful administration. If Nitish ji believes that the country should have a new government led by PM Modi instead of Mahagathbandhan, then the BJP is welcoming such individuals until the day before the elections. Lalan Singh or Ashok Choudhary are not relevant.
