German asylum centre fire kills 1, 3 injured

NEW YORK, 27th Feb.
German authorities on Monday said that 1 person died and 3 suffered minor to serious injuries after a fire in an asylum centre in Nordlingen, a town in the southern German state of Bavaria.

According to news media reports on Monday 50 residents are temporarily housed in a hall after an asylum center in Germany caught fire.

A police spokesperson said in a statement that the cause of the fire which broke out on Sunday is still under investigation.

The accommodation is no longer habitable media reported.
