New Delhi, 8th Nov: The second day of the three-day annual youth conference “Vimarsh 2025”, organized by a youth organization at Delhi University’s Kamala Nehru College campus, began with vibrant cultural performances showcasing India’s “Unity in Diversity.”

The day’s central theme — “100 Years of Service and Nation Building: Towards an Atmanirbhar Bharat” — was marked by insightful addresses from distinguished guests including Mukund Bihari, RSS thinker Ratan Sharda, journalist Rahul Roushan, and panelist Neha Beniwal.

“RSS Builds Society through Character Building” – Mukund Bihari
Chief Guest Mukund Bihari said that India faces challenges like crime, social distortions, and terrorism rooted in moral and cultural imbalance.

“The British not only damaged our education and economy but also distanced us from our cultural identity. The Sangh reconnected society with its roots,” he said.

Defining cultural nationalism as a harmonious link between individual and society, he added, “In Indian culture, the individual and society are not adversaries but collaborators.”

“Service Is RSS’s Core Mission” – Ratan Sharda
Ratan Sharda highlighted the RSS’s extraordinary contribution to nation-building since its inception.
“Service is the core objective of the Sangh, not a byproduct,” he said.

Recalling historic milestones — from the 1965 war to India’s Covid-19 vaccine success — he said India has made great strides toward self-reliance.

Sharda also noted that India is now recognized globally as a friend guided by the spirit of Vasudhaiva Kutumbakam.

“The Ram Mandir movement was not just about temple construction but about uniting millions,” he said, adding that RSS’s Pancha Parivartan — Harmony, Family Awareness, Environment, Self, and Civic Duty — is central to societal transformation.

“We are not here to celebrate birthdays, but to transform society,” he remarked.

“Shifting Ideological Balance in Media” – Rahul Roushan
Independent journalist Rahul Roushan observed that for long, Indian media reflected a single ideological bias, which is now changing.

“Earlier, crimes against Hindus were ignored; today, such cases are being reported with equal seriousness,” he said.

Discussing India’s unique brand of nationalism, Roushan noted that “Indian nationalism differs from Western constitutional nationalism; it is rooted in ancient cultural ethos.”

Responding to him, Ratan Sharda said, “India’s nationalism is thousands of years old — driven by culture, not the Constitution. It is ‘Unity expressed in Diverse Forms.’”

Message to Youth: “Change Yourself, and the Nation Will Change”
In an interactive session, the speakers urged youth to embody service, harmony, and responsibility.
Rahul Roushan concluded, “Today’s youth must stand for national interest with reasoning and vision. If we change, the nation changes; if we think, the nation thinks.”

The day ended with patriotic songs and a message of unity, reaffirming that India’s youth are not just the hope of tomorrow but the force driving transformation today.
