Kurukshetra, 7th Feb: In a momentous occasion held at the Senate Hall of Kurukshetra University, Ms. Jahnavi was honored with the prestigious First Smt Mewa Wati Goel Award 2023 for achieving the top rank in MA Economics. The event was organized by the Department of Economics in collaboration with the Kurukshetra University Alumni Association (KUKAA).

The award was sponsored by Prof. M.M. Goel, an esteemed alumnus of the Department of Economics at Kurukshetra University, in memory of his mother Smt. Mewa Wati Goel.

Prof. Goel, who holds degrees in MA, MPhil, and PhD, has held various distinguished positions within the university, including serving as a teacher, Chairperson, Dean of the Faculty of Social Sciences, and Dean of Colleges.
