Fire Erupts at Mumbai’s Avior Corporate Park, No Injuries Reported

Mumbai, 26th March. 
A fire broke out on Tuesday morning at a six-storey corporate park located in suburban Mulund, Mumbai, prompting a swift response from rescue teams. Approximately 50 individuals were successfully rescued from the smoke-filled building without any reported injuries, according to officials.The individuals rescued were stuck on different floors of the building when the fire started around 9:25 am, according to a civic official.

They were safely evacuated using a staircase and turn-table ladders. Fortunately, there have been no reports of injuries so far.

Another civic official mentioned that the fire was contained to the sixth floor of the Avior Corporate Park building on LBS Road.

The fire damaged wiring, electrical installations, split AC units, wooden furniture, and office records in an area of about 1,000 square feet within the commercial building.

To combat the fire, four fire engines, three jumbo tankers, two turn-table ladders, and other vehicles were deployed.

Personnel from the Mumbai police, Brihanmumbai Municipal Corporation (BMC), and other agencies were also present at the scene to assist in the operation.
