New Delhi, 27th Feb. A fire erupted at Delhi’s Lok Nayak Jai Prakash Hospital (LNJP) late Monday night, reportedly caused by a short circuit, according to Medical Director Suresh Kumar.
In a statement to the news agency ANI, Kumar confirmed, “There was an electric short circuit in the emergency block. All the patients are safe. There was no need to shift any of the patients from their wards.”
Kumar added, “Fire tenders promptly arrived at the scene, and the fire was swiftly extinguished. All services have resumed after the fire clearance.”
