Fight against Corona: Weekend Lockdown in 9 Districts of Haryana including Gurugram

Gurugram. 1st May. Weekend lockdown has been announced in nine districts of Haryana including Gurugram amid increasing cases of coronavirus. This will be imposed from 10 pm on Friday night to Monday morning. This information has been given in an official order of the Haryana government.

Lockdown will be imposed in Gurugram, Faridabad, Panchkula, Rohtak, Karnal, Hisar, Sirsa and Faridabad districts from 10PM Friday to 5 AM on Monday.

People related to law and order, emergency-municipal services and government machinery will be exempted from this lockdown.

The order states, ‘People will have to stay inside their home during lockdown. No person (except people associated with essential services) will get out of the house. Earlier, on Monday, gatherings of people in five districts of Haryana, including Gurugram and Faridabad, were banned. New cases of corona have increased sharply in the past few days in Gurugram, Faridabad, Noida and Ghaziabad including the nation’s capital Delhi.
