Fight against Corona: Delhi CM Arvind Kejriwal Announced Extension of Lockdown by One Week

New Delhi, 1st May. To control the wave of corona in Delhi, the lockdown has been extended for 7 more days. Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal tweeted and informed about this. The lockdown is in force since 10 pm from 19th April in the national capital. It was supposed to end at 5 am on May 3, but now there will be a lockdown till May 10.

On Friday, 375 more patients died due to Coronavirus infection in Delhi, while 27,047 new cases of Covid-19 were reported. The case positivity rate in the national capital was 32.69 percent. Friday was the ninth consecutive day when more than 300 deaths occurred due to Coronavirus infection in Delhi. The total number of corona cases in Delhi has increased to 11,49,333 out of which more than 10.33 lakhs have been recovered. The death toll is 16,147.
