New Delhi, 4th March: Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Wednesday extended heartfelt greetings to citizens across the country on the occasion of Holi, wishing that the festival of colours brings happiness, prosperity and success into everyone’s lives.
In his message, the Prime Minister said that Holi fills the atmosphere with new energy and enthusiasm, making it one of the most vibrant celebrations in the country.
He noted that the colourful festivities seen everywhere during Holi immerse people in a spirit of joy and celebration, strengthening social bonds and spreading positivity.
The Prime Minister also shared a Sanskrit Subhashitam describing the beauty of spring and the celebratory mood associated with the festival.
The verse reflects how blossoming flowers, dancing in the gentle breeze of spring, spread fragrance and colour, symbolising the joyous awakening of life and the exuberant celebration of love and harmony.
