On Sunday evening, PT Usha arrived in the state for the Pran Pratishtha ceremony of Ram Lalla.
The Pran Pratishtha of Ram Lalla at Ram Janmabhoomi in Ayodhya will take place on Monday afternoon, with the presence of Prime Minister Narendra Modi, Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath, saints, and various distinguished guests.
Sports personalities such as MS Dhoni, Sachin Tendulkar, Virat Kohli, Mithali Raj, Harmanpreet Kaur, and Ravichandran Ashwin have also been invited to the event.
The Pran Pratishtha ceremony will commence at 12:30 p.m. under tight security.
The Shri Ram Janmabhoomi Teerth Kshetra Trust announced that the ceremony will be accompanied by a musical event called Mangal Dhwani.
The temple is built in the traditional Nagara style, with dimensions of 380 feet in length (east-west), 250 feet in width, and 161 feet in height. It is supported by 392 pillars and has 44 doors.
The temple’s pillars and walls feature intricately sculpted depictions of Hindu deities. The main sanctum sanctorum on the ground floor houses the idol of Shri Ramlalla, depicting the childhood form of Bhagwan Shri Ram.
The main entrance to the temple is located on the eastern side, accessible by ascending 32 stairs through the Singh Dwar. The temple consists of five halls: Nritya Mandap, Rang Mandap, Sabha Mandap, Prathana Mandap, and Kirtan Mandap.
Near the temple, there is a historic well called Sita koop, dating back to ancient times. In the southwestern part of the temple complex, at Kuber Tila, the ancient temple of Bhagwan Shiv has been restored, along with the installation of a statue of Jatayu.
The temple’s foundation is made of a 14-meter-thick layer of roller-compacted concrete (RCC), giving it the appearance of artificial rock. No iron has been used in the temple, and a 21-foot-high plinth made of granite has been constructed to protect against ground moisture.
