Rampur, 27th Jan. On the occasion of the 76th Republic Day, a flag hoisting ceremony was organized at the Congress district office. Former MP and senior Congress leader Begum Noor Bano hoisted the flag.

Addressing the Congress workers present, Begum Noor Bano stated that communal forces are trying to escalate the feeling of separatism in the country. She emphasized that the core ideology of Congress is based on true loyalty to democratic values, secularism, social justice, and economic inclusivity. However, she pointed out that right-wing ideologies are leading India towards inequality and division, pushing the nation to a dangerous threshold.

She further added that the progress of any country is impossible without mutual cooperation, harmony, and peace among its citizens. The Modi government, she claimed, is leading a group of affluent people, attempting to enslave the poor by imposing heavy tax burdens on them.
Begum Noor Bano urged the workers to pledge to protect the Constitution in the fight for social justice.
Present at the event were AICC member Muti Ur Rahman Khabbalu, Premil Kumar Sharma (Nikku Pandit), Sachin Trivedi, Mahender Saxena, S. K. Agarwal, Sharib Ali Khan, Sahir Ali Khan, Umesh Dubey, Uttar Pradesh Youth Congress General Secretary Arsalani Ali Khan, Bakr Ali Khan, Asif Khan, Haji Zameel, Zameel Miyan, Nazakat Bhai, Waseem, Shakeel Ahmad, Waseek Ali, Alim, Ashraf Ali, Sabir, Naresh, Kudrat Miyan, Shokat Ali, Altab Miyan, and others.
