Emirates airline to resume flights connecting India, South Africa and Nigeria from June 23

New Delhi, 20th June. Emirates airline easing the curbs on Indian passengers has announced that it is resuming the flights connecting India, South Africa and Nigeria to the city from June 23.
The decision has been taken after the latest protocols and measures were announced by Dubai’s Supreme Committee of Crisis and Disaster Management to allow the safe resumption of passenger travel from South Africa, Nigeria and India to Dubai and onwards,” said the airline’s spokesperson in a statement.
According to the Supreme Committee of Crisis and Disaster Management in Dubai, the passengers from India with a valid residence visa and have been administered their two doses of UAE-approved Covid vaccine jabs and are able to present a negative test certificate from a PCR test taken 48 hours before departure will be allowed to travel to Dubai. Earlier Emirates had suspended its flight till 6th July.
A large number of Indians working there have welcomed the move and said that the window to working in Dubai has opened and will benefit Indians working in the gulf country.
