ED Raids Multiple Locations in MP Over Adulterated Milk Products Export

New Delhi, 29th Jan. The Enforcement Directorate (ED) on Wednesday raided multiple locations in Madhya Pradesh linked to Jayshri Gayatri Food Products Pvt Ltd. The company is accused of producing and distributing adulterated milk products domestically and internationally using forged lab certificates.

The crackdown, targeting the company’s directors, including Kishan Modi and Rajendra Prasad Modi, is part of a broader action against food adulteration and fraudulent trade practices. Searches were conducted at nine locations across Bhopal, Sehore, and Morena, with evidence of 63 falsified lab reports discovered.

Jayshri Gayatri Food Products, established in 2013, manufactures and exports dairy products under the brand ‘Milk Magic’, including milk, ghee, khoya, and margarine. Authorities have found that the firm allegedly used fake lab certificates to export substandard products to several countries, including Bahrain, Hong Kong, Singapore, Oman, Qatar, and the UAE.

The ED is currently examining financial records and documents to uncover the full extent of the violations. Searches are ongoing, and more details are awaited.
