New Delhi, 29th Nov: The Election Commission of India (ECI) has invited citizens across the country to download the ECINet app and share their suggestions to enhance its usability. Feedback can be submitted through the ‘Submit a Suggestion’ tab on the app between November 27 and December 27, 2025.

The ECINet app, currently in its trial phase, was deployed during the Bihar Assembly Elections 2025 and the recent bye-elections. According to the Commission, the platform improved voter services, offered faster access to polling percentage trends, and enabled the publication of Index Cards within 72 hours of polling — a process that previously took several weeks or even months.

ECI said feedback from Chief Electoral Officers, District Electoral Officers, Electoral Registration Officers, Observers and field officials is being incorporated to strengthen the platform further. All suggestions received from citizens will be reviewed, and updates will be made to ensure the app becomes more user-friendly ahead of its formal rollout.

The official launch of the ECINet platform is scheduled for January 2026.

Developed under the leadership of Chief Election Commissioner Gyanesh Kumar and Election Commissioners Dr. Sukhbir Singh Sandhu and Dr. Vivek Joshi, ECINet aims to improve voter convenience and enhance electoral transparency through technology. Work on the app began after its announcement on May 4, 2025.

ECINet consolidates 40 separate election-related apps and websites into one unified interface. These include the Voter Helpline App, cVIGIL, Saksham, Polling Trends (Voter Turnout app), and Know Your Candidate (KYC) app. The platform is available on both the Google Play Store and Apple App Store.
