Dr. Loganathan Murugan Takes Charge as Minister of State for Information and Broadcasting

 Dr. Loganathan Murugan on Tuesday assumed office as the Union Minister of State for Information and Broadcasting.

In his address to the media, Dr. Murugan expressed his gratitude to Prime Minister Narendra Modi for entrusting him with this significant role. He emphasized the crucial function of the Ministry of Information and Broadcasting in implementing government policies and serving as a communication bridge between the government and the citizens of India.

Dr. Murugan highlighted the government’s unwavering commitment to Garib Kalyan (welfare of the poor), as demonstrated by the recent Cabinet decision to construct 3 crore rural and urban houses under the Pradhan Mantri Awas Yojana.

Upon his arrival, Dr. Murugan was warmly welcomed by Secretary Sanjay Jaju and other senior officials of the Ministry, along with representatives from various media units operating under the Ministry of Information and Broadcasting.

In his new role, Dr. Murugan is expected to oversee initiatives aimed at enhancing the dissemination of information about government programs and policies, ensuring that the public remains informed and engaged with the developmental agenda of the government.
