New Delhi, 31st Oct: On the occasion of Rashtriya Ekta Diwas, Union Minister of State (Independent Charge) for Science and Technology and Minister of State (PMO), Dr. Jitendra Singh, administered the Ekta Pledge to officials of the Prime Minister’s Office (PMO), reaffirming their dedication to the unity and integrity of the nation.
The observance, held to commemorate the 150th birth anniversary of Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel, celebrated his enduring legacy as the architect of national integration and a symbol of strength and unity.
Senior PMO officials, including Principal Secretary to the Prime Minister Dr. P.K. Mishra, Principal Secretary-2 Shri Shaktikanta Das, Advisor to the Prime Minister Shri Tarun Kapoor, and Special Secretary Shri Atish Chandra, joined Dr. Jitendra Singh in taking the pledge.
Sharing the observance on X (formerly Twitter), the Prime Minister’s Office stated:
