PM Modi Unveils Ambitious Development Projects Worth Rs 1330 Crores in Viksit Goa 2047 Program

 Prime Minister Narendra Modi inaugurated and laid the foundation stone for a slew of development projects valued at over Rs 1330 crores as part of the Viksit Bharat, Viksit Goa 2047 program in Goa on Tuesday.

These initiatives span various sectors including education, sports, water treatment, waste management, and tourism, marking a significant stride in the state’s progress.

During the event, Prime Minister Modi also distributed appointment orders to 1930 new government recruits and handed over sanction letters to beneficiaries of various welfare schemes, underlining the government’s commitment to enhancing livelihoods and fostering inclusive growth.

In his address, Prime Minister Modi extolled Goa’s natural beauty and cultural richness, highlighting its significance as a favorite destination for tourists. He paid homage to prominent personalities from Goa and emphasized the state’s historical and cultural contributions.

The Prime Minister underscored the importance of peaceful coexistence and harmony among diverse communities, emphasizing the government’s focus on inclusive development and welfare initiatives.

Highlighting the significance of the development projects, Prime Minister Modi emphasized their potential to catalyze Goa’s growth trajectory. He lauded the state’s progress under the “Double-Engine” government and reiterated the government’s commitment to Sabka Saath, Sabka Vikas.

Prime Minister Modi also outlined key budgetary allocations aimed at bolstering housing, healthcare, fisheries, and infrastructure development, reflecting the government’s resolve to empower every citizen and foster economic prosperity.

Furthermore, Prime Minister Modi emphasized the government’s efforts to position Goa as a premier tourist destination, emphasizing the potential for conference tourism and sporting events to boost the state’s global profile.
