Dev Rishi Narad Patrakar Samman 2025 to Honour Journalistic Excellence on June 27 in New Delhi

New Delhi, 26th June: To mark the birth anniversary of Dev Rishi Narad, revered as the world’s first journalist, the Indraprastha Vishva Samvad Kendra (IVSK) will organise the Dev Rishi Narad Patrakar Samman 2025 on Friday, June 27 in the national capital. The annual event recognises outstanding contributions in the field of journalism and honours the dedication, discipline, and sacrifice of media professionals.
This year’s event will be held at Speaker Hall Annexe, Constitution Club, Rafi Marg, New Delhi, starting at 4:00 PM.
According to a press note issued by IVSK, Shri Pradeep Joshi, Akhil Bharatiya Sah Prachar Pramukh of the Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh (RSS), will be the keynote speaker, while Shri Navneet Sehgal, Chairman of Prasar Bharati, will attend as the chief guest.
The organisers have extended an open invitation to media houses to cover the event, requesting the presence of journalists, camera crews, and photographers.
The Dev Rishi Narad Journalism Awards aim to encourage value-based journalism and highlight the enduring legacy of Narad Muni, who is symbolically regarded as the pioneer of truthful and timely communication.
The ceremony, held annually, serves as a platform to reflect on the evolving role of media and acknowledge the ethical responsibilities of journalists in a dynamic democracy.
