GG News Bureau

New Delhi, 12th May. Police have arrested two men from Delhi’s Mundka who were black-marketing necessary medical equipment. 10 oxygen concentrators and two thousand pulse oxy meters have been recovered from them.

Case has been registered under Essential Commodities Act, 3 Epidemic Diseases Act 1987 & 420/188 IPC at Mundka police station.

This again raises various questions regarding the hoarding of essential medical equipment amid the severe corona crisis. People are struggling each day for their lives and then there are few people like these who are taking advantage of the public by doing balck marketing and hoarding such essential medical necessities. Is this the humanity we all are talking about amid this pandemic? Definitely not. Despite the strict orders of the Supreme Court in the hoarding matter still these kinds of incidents are taking place. Administration should deal such cases very strictly and the point should be considered very seriously.
