Cricketer Ambati Rayudu Quits YSRCP in Andhra Pradesh Few Days After Joining

 Less than two weeks after joining the ruling YSRCP party in Andhra Pradesh, former Indian cricketer Ambati Rayudu has announced his decision to leave the party. Rayudu stated that he wants to take a break from politics for a while.

This decision comes just before the state Legislative Assembly and Lok Sabha elections.

Rayudu made the announcement on social media, stating that he will no longer be a part of the YSRCP party and will step away from politics temporarily. He also mentioned that he will share his future plans at a later time.

Rayudu had joined the YSRCP party on December 28, 2023, along with Deputy Chief Minister K Narayana Swamy and Rajampeta Lok Sabha member P Mithun Reddy.

Rayudu is a former cricketer who has represented the Indian cricket team and has played for Mumbai Indians and Chennai Super Kings in the Indian Premier League (IPL).

He has also played for various state teams in domestic cricket. In recent months, Rayudu has been engaging with the public through different programs.
