COVID-19 UPDATE: India reports lowest Daily New Cases of 1.27 Lakh in 54 days; declining trend in new cases maintained.

New Delhi, 1st June. India has reported the lowest Daily New Cases of 1.27 Lakh in 54 days; a declining trend in new cases maintained. India’s Active Caseload further declines to 18,95,520. Below 20 lakhs after 43 days.
Active Cases have decreased by 1,30,572 in last 24 hours and the country has seen 2,59,47,629 Total Recoveries across the country so far. 2,55,287 patients recovered during last 24 hours and recoveries continue to outnumber Daily New Cases for 19 successive days. The Recovery Rate continues to increase, at 92.09% today. The Weekly Positivity Rate currently pegged at 8.64%. The Daily Positivity Rate dips to 6.62%, less than 10% for 8 consecutive days. The Testing capacity substantially ramped up- 34.67cr tests total conducted. 21.6 Cr. Vaccine Doses have been administered so far under Nationwide Vaccination Drive.
