New Delhi, 7th Aug: Addressing the BJP-led NDA parliamentary party meeting today, Prime Minister Narendra Modi launched an attack on Congress leader Rahul Gandhi without naming him, stating, “the country has seen his childhood, he keeps saying anything.”

The Prime Minister’s remarks were made in the context of a recent Supreme Court reprimand of Gandhi. PM Modi referred to the court’s criticism of the Congress leader’s allegations regarding China’s land encroachment, stating, “there can be no bigger reprimand than the one given by the Supreme Court.”

Modi further elaborated on the Supreme Court’s intervention, saying, “When the Supreme Court itself has said this, what more can we say?” He used a metaphor, adding, “It is not just putting a foot on a stone. It is inviting a bull to attack.”

During the meeting, the Prime Minister also criticized the opposition’s demand for a debate on ‘Operation Sindoor,’ calling it a strategic blunder that would backfire on them. He suggested that such debates are a positive for the ruling coalition. “The opposition should hold such debates every day. This is our area, God is with me here,” he said. He concluded by saying that by demanding such discussions, the opposition had “hit themselves with an axe.”
