Corbevax is set to be the cheapest vaccine in India. Both doses cost Rs 500

New Delhi, 15 June. Finally, there is soeth9ing to cheer about for the people still waiting for the Covid 10 vaccine doses in India. Corbevax is set to be the cheapest vaccine in India. Right now the clinical phase III trials of Corbevax are underway and are yet to get emergency use approval.
According to the sources right the price for the both doses of Biological E’s Covid-19 vaccine Corbevax, is Rs 500 but the pricing could be lower to Rs 400 for two doses,
The Union Ministry of Health finalised advance arrangement for 30 crore Covid-19 vaccine doses with Hyderabad-based M/s Biological-E Ltd on Thursday.
Covishield costs Rs 600 for two doses for state governments and Rs 1200 for private hospitals. Bharat Biotech’s Covaxin doses cost Rs 800 and Rs 2,400. On the other hand, Russian vaccine Sputnik V cost Rs 995 per shot.
