Congress and opposition leaders ridicules Hindus and their faith

The construction and impending consecration of the Ram Mandir in Ayodhya represent a great win for the Hindu community, symbolising a watershed point in Bharatiya cultural and religious landscape. The historic occasion will be broadcast live, allowing Hindus all across the world to experience it. The creation of this Mandir, dedicated to the Bhagwan Ram, is not only a watershed moment for the Hindu community, but also a monument to Bharat’s resilience and unity. However, opposition leaders appear to choose to ignore it.

Why are there so many remarks and events in which Congress and its leaders have ridiculed Hindus and their faith throughout history?

Despite the opposition party’s best efforts to turn the incident into a political football by accusing the ruling party of being to blame for skipping the Ram Mandir Pran Pratishtha event, the fact remains that the Congress party has never shied away from displaying its anti-Hindu policies and open Muslim appeasement.

On Thursday, January 11, the grand old party announced that its leaders, party chief Mallikarjun Kharge, his predecessor Sonia Gandhi, and the party’s Lok Sabha leader Adhir Ranjan Chowdhury, who received the invitation, declined it, citing it as a ‘political project’ of the BJP and the Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh.

“Religion is a personal matter,” senior party leader Jairam Ramesh said in a statement, defending Congress’ decision to boycott the inauguration ceremony of the Bhavya Ram Mandir in Ayodhya, which not only represents a victory for Sanatan Dharma and a symbol of Hindu awakening and pride restoration, but also a reminder of the tenacity of our forefathers who refused to succumb to the relentless, brutal Islamic onslaught during the Middle Ages.

The intriguing issue arises: how can the consecration ceremony of the Ram Mandir, which is a monument to millions of Hindus’ support and is supported by contributions from people from all walks of life, suddenly transform into an RSS or BJP-exclusive event? It appears that the Congress has chosen, with remarkable subtlety, to shape the story into something far from its obvious truth.

As the BJP prepares to attend the Ram Mandir inauguration alongside the Hindu community, many opposition parties are torn on whether to participate. The CPM has already decided not to attend, accusing the BJP of politicising a sacred event. Mamata Banerjee, West Bengal Chief Minister, has gone further, accusing the BJP of using the Mandir inauguration as an election ploy. Manoj Tiwari, a BJP MP, criticised the Congress for their historical opposition to the Ram Mandir and questioned their sincerity in attending the occasion.

The construction and consecration of the Ram Mandir in Ayodhya represents a win not only for the Hindu community, but for Bharat as a whole. The global recognition and praise from prominent countries like the United States highlight the cultural and historical significance of this event, propelling Bharat to new heights on the international scene. Despite political divisions, the country is ready to come together to celebrate this historic occasion, emphasising the shared cultural legacy that crosses party lines.

It’s amusing how Rahul Gandhi appears to wear Hinduism on his sleeves only during election season, as seen by his acts and the policies of his political party. As the election season approaches, posters of Rahul Gandhi depicting him as a Hindu God are put up to entice Hindu voters, and Temple-runs around election time are organised to give the impression that he is a practicing Hindu. However, as the election season ends, the Congress party and its president Rahul Gandhi revert to their mode of operation of unabashed minority appeasement and anti-Hindu activities.

Mamata Banerjee’s Chandi Path will be considered alongside Rahul Gandhi’s soft Hindutva attempts. Whereas, Arvind Kejriwal’s Hanuman Chalisa on TV appears to be taking two steps forward. Arvind Kejriwal’s desire to include images of Lakshmi and Ganesh on notes, along with the phrase Jai Shri Ram, is the most obvious example of this.

It appears that the INDIA Bloc’s new stance on Ayodhya will exacerbate the conflict between South and North Indian politics. Given the BJP’s prominence in North Bharat, the Congress party may place a more emphasis on southern politics. In North Bharat, parties such as the Samajwadi Party, RJD, and JDU may bear the primary burden for contending with the BJP and Prime Minister Narendra Modi. As the leader of the opposition alliance, the Congress leadership will be the primary target.

The reaction of BJP leaders to INDIA Bloc’s current attitude on Ayodhya suggests that the ruling party would utilise weapons like Sanatan to corner the opposition to the utmost extent possible. The party is not going to back down on this issue. The reaction observed by Congress President’s son Priyank Kharge to DMK leader Udayanidhi Stalin’s statement about dismantling Sanatan Dharma, as well as the reaction of RJD leaders, suggests that the opposition’s politics will follow suit in the future.
